1. Nationwide overview
In this week, while some indexes of newly established enterprises such as the number of newly established enterprises and the number of registered employees decreased, other index such as the volume of registered capital increased, comparing with week 40. The indexes that reflect how much of challenges that enterprises faced include: the number of enterprises that register for temporary suspension, the number of enterprises that were revoked certificates for business registration and the number of dissolved enterprises.
2. Graph show the number of enterprises in terms of types, areas and business activities
-Types of enterprises:
Comparing with week 40, the number of newly established enterprises decreased in all types of business. For example, the number of private enterprises went down the most among the five business types, by 17.6%, followed by the number of muilti-member limited liability companies with 14%. Meanwhile, the amount of single-member limited liability companies and joint stock companies fell by 13.1% and 9.2% respectively. In terms of quantity, the number of single-member companies declined the most, by 145 enterprises. It is followed by the number of multi-member companies which fell by 85 enterprises. In the meanwhile the number of those are joint stock and private companies decreased by 37 and 22 enterprises respectively. Apparently, the vast majority of new established enterprises are single-member limited liability enterprises, with 965 companies, followed by multi-member limited liability companies (522), joint-stock companies (367) and private companies (103).
- Areas:
Seeing the downward trend of the number of newly established enterprises in terms of geographical areas, the largest decline (42.9%) was the number of enterprises in Central Highlands, followed by those in Midlands and mountainous areas in the North of Vietnam with 29.8%. The areas of Mekong Delta, Southeast area, Red River Delta, North and South Central Coast fell 21.3%, 17.1%, 3.1% and 1.1% respectively. Southeast and Red River Delta area, due to being major urban areas of Vietnam (e.g. Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, etc.), still were the places where there are the biggest quantity of newly established enterprises.
- Business lines:
In terms of business lines, there was an increase in some business lines in the number of newly established enterprises in week 41 compared to week 40, in particular: Job services, Tourism, services for machinery, equipment and tools leasing, and other supporting services; Art, recreation and entertainment; Producing and distributing electricity, water and gasoline; Medicine and social supporting activities. The number of newly established enterprises of other business lines fell while only those numbers in the fields of Finance, banking and insurance remained stable. Moreover, a vast number of newly established enterprises still gather mainly in some traditional business fields such as Wholesale and retail sales, Repairing services for automobiles and motobikes; Processing, manufacturing and construction industries.
