BUSINESS REGISTRATION UPDATE BY DISSOLUTION, SUSPENSION AND RESUMED OPERATION AFTER SUSPENSION CASES IN MARCH AND 1ST QUARTER OF 2018

1. Business registration update by resumed operation after suspension cases

-   In general:

In the first three months of 2018, there were 8.449 enterprises resumed operation after suspension, decreasing by8,9% compared to the same period last year.

-  By enterprise type:

As the result of Table No.2, in the first threes month of 2018, South East area had the highest quantity of enterprise resumed operation after suspension with 3.235 enterprises, accounting for 38,3%; In opposition, Tay Nguyen had only 323 enterprises resumed operation after suspension, lowest compared with others.

Besides, those enterprises resumed operation after suspension were mostly distributed at Ho Chi Minh city with 2.492 enteprises, accounting for 77,0% of total enterprises in region; following by Hanoi with 1.277 enteprirses (57,3%).

Also in this period, the rate of the enterprises resumed operation after suspension was get the decline trends in almost regions compared with the same period last year except Tay Nguyen (increasing by 10,6%).

By business activities:

The enterprise resumed operation after suspension was concentrated on some typical fieds such as: Wholesale And Retail Trade; Repair Of Automobiles, Motorbikes And Other Motor Vehicles (3.223 enterprises, accounting for 38,1%); Construction (1.287 enterprises, 15,2%); Manufacturing (1.087 enterprises, 12,9%); Professional, Scientific And Technical Activities (429 enterprises, 5,1%).

In comparision with the same period last year, there were only four business activities that had the growth rate of enterprise resumed operation after suspension as follow: Human Health And Social Work Activities (28 enterprises, up 40,0%); Agriculture, Forestry And Fishing (240 enterprises, up 20,6%); Education And Training (156 enterprises, up 9,1%) and Information And Communication (201 enteprises, up 4,7%).

1. Business registration update by enterprises already registered for suspension case

In general:

In the first three months of 2018, there were 12.222 enterprises already registered for suspension, increasing by 22,9% compared to the same period last year. Those enterprises will resume operation after suspension period.

In the first three months of 2018, those suspension enterprises were mainly gathered in Red river delta and South East area, accounting for 31,5% and 31,1% respectively. In opposition, Tay Nguyen was continuous had the lowest amount of suspension enterprises (3,8%).

Moreover, statistics from Table No.5 also demonstrates the growth rate of suspension enterprise from the entire of regions in comparision to the same period of 2017, the North Central and Central Coastal had the highest growth rate (34,7%) with 2.587 enterprises.

The suspension enterprises was concentrated on some typical fieds such as: Wholesale And Retail Trade; Repair Of Automobiles, Motorbikes And Other Motor Vehicles (4.733 enterprises, accounting for 38,7%); Construction (1.862 enterprises, 15,2%); Manufacturing (1.561 enterprises, 12,8%); Professional, Scientific And Technical Activities (714 enterprises, 5,8%). In this period, almost business activities were increased in the amount of suspension enterprises over the same period last year, except Agriculture, Forestry And Fishing, but the decrease was only 3,7%.

1. Business registration update by enterprises suspended without fulfilling taxation obligation or pending for dissolution cases

In general:

In the first three months of 2018, there were 8.115 enterprises suspended without fulfilling taxation obligation or pending for dissolution, decreasing by 24,1% compared to the same period last year.

Statistics from Table No.8 show that the entire of registered capital scales in the first three years of 2018 both had reduced in the amount of enterprises suspended without fulfilling taxation obligation or pending for dissolution compared with the same period last year, namely: registered capital scale from 20 billion to 50 billion dong had highest reduction rate 26,1 % (212 enterprise); following by registered capital scale under 10 billion dong with 7.362 enterprises, down 24,7%.

In the first three months of 2018, the rate of enterprises suspended without fulfilling taxation obligation or pending for dissolution was showed an downward tendency, as follow: Mekong river delta had 463 enterprises (down 41,8%); Red river delta had 2.497 enterprises (down 32,3%); South East area had 3.272 enterprises (down 26,5%); Tay Nguyen had 224 enterprises (down 22,0%) and Northern midlands and mountainous area had 288 enterprises (down 10,8%); only North Central and Central Coastal was increased by 19,1% (1.371 enterprises). Related to the quantity, those enterprises suspended without fulfilling taxation obligation or pending for dissolution was gathered in South East area (40,3%) and Red river delta (30,8%) in comparision with others region.

The enterprises suspended without fulfilling taxation obligation or pending for dissolution was concentrated on some typical fieds such as: Wholesale And Retail Trade; Repair Of Automobiles, Motorbikes And Other Motor Vehicles (2.971 enterprises, accounting for 36,6%); Construction (1.097 enterprises, 13,5%); Manufacturing (971 enterprises, 12,0%).

In comparision with the same period last year, there were five business activities that had the growth rate of enterprises suspended without fulfilling taxation obligation or pending for dissolution as follow: Real Estate Activities (197 enterprises, up 23,1%); Agriculture, Forestry And Fishing (182 enterprises, up 12,3%); Human Health And Social Work Activities (38 enterprises, up 11,8%); Financial, Banking And Insurance Activities (124 enterprises, up 10,7%) and Accommodation And Food Service Activities (480 enterprises, up 8,6%).

1. Business registration update by enterprises completed dissolution procedures case

In general:

In the first three months of 2018, there were 3.321 enterprises completed dissolution procedures, increasing by 1,6% compared to the same period last year.

Statistics from Table No.8 show that the entire of registered capital scales in the first three years of 2018 both were increased in the amount of enterprises completed dissolution procedures compared with the same period last year, except registered capital scale from 20 billion to 50 billion dong had the reduction rate of 29,4% (60 enterprises). Besides, those enterprises completed dissolution procedures was mostly the small registered capital scale enterprises under 10 billion dong (accounting for 91,5% in total enterprises completed dissolution procedures).

Regarding to the quantity, in the first three months of 2018, those enterprises completed dissolution procedures was mainly concentrated on South East area (1.317 enterprises, accounting for 39,7%) and Red river delta (657 enterprises, accounting for 19,8%).

In comparision with the same period last year, those enterprises completed dissolution procedures were reduced in Tay Nguyen and Meking river delta. Typically, Northern midlands and mountainous area was showed the highest growth rate (100%) over the same period of 2017.

The enterprises enterprises completed dissolution procedures was concentrated on some typical fieds such as: Wholesale And Retail Trade; Repair Of Automobiles, Motorbikes And Other Motor Vehicles (1.313 enterprises, accounting for 39,5%); Manufacturing (433 enterprises, 13,0%); Construction (325 enterprises, 9,8%).

In comparision with the same period last year, there were five business activities that had the reduction rate of enterprises completed dissolution proceduresas follow: Agriculture, Forestry And Fishing (82 enterprises, down 44,6%); Manufacture And Distribution Of Electricity, Gaseous Fuels, Hot Water, Steam And Air Conditioning (16 enterprises, down 40,7%); Mining And Quarrying (29 enterprises, down 38,3%).
