1. Business registration update in July 2014
In July 2015, there were 6.598 newly established enterprises with registered capital of 38.869 billion dong, increasing by 29,4% in the number of enterprises, decreasing by 38,4% in registered capital, compared to previous month.
Statistics on business registration following Enterprise Law 2014 effective from 1 July 2015 show that: there were 4.091 newly established enterprises with registered capital of 23.116 billion dong, of which: 4.087 domestic enterprises with registered capital of 22.746 billion dong; 04 FDI enterprises with registered capital of 370,1 billion dong.
Statistics from 1st to 28th July, there were 6.936 newly established enterprises with registered capital of 40.780 billion dong, increasing by 66,3% in the number of enterprises and 45,8% in registered capital, compared to the same period last year; increasing 4,7% in the number of enterprises compared to the same period last month.
The proportion of registered capital per enterprise in July was reached 5,9 billion dong, decreasing by 12,6% compared to previous month. The number of registered labor in newly established enterprises were 92.051 labors, decreasing by 30,8% compared to June 2015.
Regarding the case of completed dissolution procedure and closed business in July, there were 748 enterprises in the whole country, decreasing by 9,8%, compared to June 2015.
Besides, the number of enterprises suspended due to economic difficulties was 3.172, decreasing by 35,7% compared to the last month (of which 762 enterprises registered for temporary suspension; 2.410 others suspended without registering or waiting for closing tax code).
Also in this month, there were 1.467 enterprises resumed operation after suspension, increasing by 33% compared to June 2015.
2. Business registration update in the first seven months of 2015
- General situation:
In the first seven months of 2015, there were 52.004 newly established enterprises with registered capital of 321.265 billion dong, increasing by 22,7% in the number of enterprises and increasing by 22,4% in registered capital compared to the same period last year.
Besides, in the first seven months of 2015, there were 12.749 turns of increased capital amendment registration with 365.170 billion dong. Consequently, there was 686.435 billion dong of new and amended registrations capital in the first seven months of 2015.
The proportion of registered capital per an enterprise in seven months of 2015 was reached 6,2 billion dong, increasing by 0,2% compared to the same period 2014. The registered workforce in newly enterprises in seven months of 2015 was expected to reach 743.449labors, increasing 18,2% compared to the same period last year.
- Business registration update by region:

In the first seven months of 2015, regarding the case of newly established enterprises as the chart 1 shows, Central Highlands area was the only region had the deepest decrease by 22,2%. Other regions had the tendency of increasing, of which Red river delta saw the highest increase in the number of newly established in the whole country by 26,3%.
- Business registration update by business activities
In the first seven months of 2015, most of business activities had the tendency of increasing in the number of enterprises registering for establishment, of which Arts, Entertainment And Recreation had the highest increase by 125,6,8%, followed by Real Estate Activities (67,8%) and Transportation and Storage (51,5%).
